Wimbledon Order of Play 2026: Schedule and How to Watch

The 139th Wimbledon Championships open at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London today, Monday 29 June 2026, with defending champion Jannik Sinner beginning his title defence against Miomir Kecmanovic on Centre Court at 1:30 p.m. BST the first of 14 days of grass-court tennis running through Sunday 12 July.

Tournament at a Glance

The official Wimbledon schedule confirms this is the 139th staging of the Championships. Both the men's and women's singles draws carry 128 players and 32 seeds. A record prize fund of £64.2 million a 20 per cent increase on 2025 is distributed across the fortnight.

Centre Court and No. 1 Court begin at 1:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. BST respectively each day through to the semi-finals. On finals weekend Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July both singles finals start at 4:00 p.m. BST. No. 2 Court, No. 3 Court and all outside courts begin at 11:00 a.m. BST, subject to "not before" delays noted in the official daily PDFs.

Day 1 Order of Play Monday 29 June

The official Day 1 order-of-play PDF lists the following matches on the three main show courts.

Centre Court starts 1:30 p.m. BST

No. 1 Court starts 1:00 p.m. BST

A note on a late change: Emma Raducanu withdrew on 28 June after a scan confirmed a stress fracture, reshuffling the No. 1 Court order. Jelena Ostapenko vs Harriet Dart now opens No. 1 Court in the slot Raducanu had been assigned. Her first-round opponent Antonia Ruzic now meets lucky loser Darja Semenistaja on Court 17.

Day 2 Order of Play Tuesday 30 June

Tuesday's main event on Centre Court is Serena Williams, who faces Maya Joint in the third match from 1:30 p.m. BST her first Grand Slam singles appearance since the 2022 US Open. Iga Swiatek, defending women's champion, opens the same court against Taylor Townsend.

Jack Draper gets a demanding opening slot against No. 6 seed Fritz on Centre Court. Draper arrives at Wimbledon having lost to Ugo Humbert in the Eastbourne semi-finals the week before, and the grass-court test begins immediately on the biggest stage.

No. 2 Court starts 11:00 a.m. BST

The Stories Shaping This Wimbledon

Serena Williams returns at 44. She received a singles wildcard from the AELTC and opens Tuesday against Maya Joint four years after last competing at a Grand Slam. Defending champion Iga Swiatek enters as the No. 3 seed, opening Centre Court on Tuesday.
